“You”, “Customer”, or “Buyer” refer to the user of this website.
“Products” means all goods sold on this website.
“Order” means any purchase made through this website.
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
We aim to display Products as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary depending on your screen or device, and we cannot guarantee exact colour accuracy.
All Products are checked prior to dispatch to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Avoid placing heavy or sharp objects inside the bags.
- Do not expose the bags to prolonged moisture or water.
- Damage caused by misuse, water exposure, overloading, or mishandling is not covered under warranty.
Some Products are made-to-order and/or personalised.
Payment & Production
- Full payment is required before production begins.
- Orders will only be processed once payment is confirmed.
Made-to-Order Nature
- Personalised items are created specifically for each customer and are not kept in stock.
- Design and preparation work (including graphics) involve time and cost (minimum $30), incurred before production.
Customer Updates
- We provide regular updates throughout the process, including design, production, and dispatch stages.
- This ensures transparency and allows customers to track the progress of their order.
No Cancellation / No Refund (Change of Mind)
- Once payment is made, personalised and pre-order items cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged due to change of mind, delays, or personal preference.
Important – Australian Consumer Law
- Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy (such as repair, replacement, or refund) as required by law.
Timeframes
- Production timelines may vary depending on availability of materials and artists.
- Estimated delivery timeframes (ETA) are not guaranteed but updates will be provided.
No rush orders are accepted for personalised or hand-crafted items.
- Orders are placed via the website checkout.
- You will receive an Order Number upon purchase.
- Once payment is confirmed, an Order Confirmation will be sent.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order and will notify you if this occurs.
- Gift Cards are issued digitally via email only.
- No physical cards will be provided.
- Gift Cards do not expire.
- Coupons are promotional only and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- They must be used before their expiry date.
- Only one coupon may be used per order unless otherwise stated.
- Customers must provide accurate delivery details.
- Additional fees may apply for incorrect or incomplete addresses.
- If delivery fails due to recipient unavailability, the parcel may be returned to the courier depot.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange collection or redelivery.
- We are not liable for delivery delays once the parcel has been dispatched.
- Clearance items are final sale and not eligible for refunds.
- If a product is faulty, a store credit or replacement may be provided in line with consumer guarantees.
Change of Mind
- We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.
Consumer Guarantees (ACL)
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a Product:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is not as described
- Is not fit for its intended purpose
Depending on the issue, you may be entitled to:
Return Conditions
- Items must be returned in original condition where possible
- Proof of purchase is required
Return Shipping
- Paid by the customer unless the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrectly described
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds may take 5-7 business days to appear, depending on your financial institution
Some Products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty and must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
To the extent permitted by law, Gift Ideas By Cindy will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our Products or website.
